How bookings and payments work through RepairMyCar, and what happens if you need to change, cancel or get a refund.

The short version

  • A booking is a request to a garage. Your contract for the work is with the garage, not us.
  • You pay the garage directly, normally on the day - RepairMyCar never holds your money, and booking is free for you.
  • You can cancel or reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your appointment.
  • If a garage can't do the job, you owe nothing for it, and we'll help you find an alternative.
  • Any extra work is agreed with, and paid directly to, the garage.
