Vehicle registration, postcode, contact details (name, email, phone), service selections, and booking history. We also keep basic technical logs (user agent, timestamps) to detect abuse.
2. How we use it
To match you with garages, confirm bookings, support customer service, and improve the platform. Garages receive only the details required to deliver your booking.
3. Lawful basis
We process your data to perform the booking contract and on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a safe, useful platform. Where required (e.g. marketing email), we rely on your consent.
4. Sharing
We share booking details with the garage you choose. We use trusted processors (hosting, email, SMS) under data-processing agreements. We do not sell your data.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and object to processing. Email privacy@repairmycar.io to exercise these rights.
