1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. They help a site work, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and (with consent) measure advertising. We use these technologies in line with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
2.Types of cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functionality such as security, network management, logging in and completing a booking. | Not required |
| Analytics / performance | Helps us count visitors and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. | Required (unless anonymised) |
| Functionality | Remembers your preferences and choices to personalise your experience. | Required |
| Marketing / retargeting | Helps us deliver and measure relevant advertising, including pixels and server-side tools. | Required |
3.Why we use them
We use cookies and similar tools to manage traffic and keep the Platform secure and working; recognise you when you log in and show you the right content; protect against fraud and abuse; support interactive features such as chat and reminders; remember your preferences; understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it; track referrals from partners; and measure the performance of our advertising.
4.Managing your consent
When you first visit, you will see a cookie banner offering options such as Accept all, Manage preferences and Reject all. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent. You can change your choices at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in our footer.
5.Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us, for example analytics, payment, tag management and advertising tools. Each third party is responsible for its own cookie and privacy practices, which you can review in their own policies. Some third-party advertising tools may act as independent controllers and may transfer data outside the UK or EEA; we only enable these with your consent.

7.Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. You can usually do this for specific sites or globally. For help, see aboutcookies.org or your browser's help pages (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all provide cookie controls). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform working properly.
